Connect your university's identity provider (Microsoft Entra, Google Workspace, Okta) to zAccess using SAML 2.0 in under 10 minutes.

Step 1: Get Your Metadata URL

In your IdP admin panel, locate the SAML metadata URL. For Microsoft Entra: Azure AD → Enterprise Apps → your app → Single sign-on → Federation Metadata XML.

Step 2: Enter It in zAccess

Dashboard → Settings → Security & SSO → Enable SAML → paste your metadata URL → Save. zAccess auto-imports all certificates and endpoints.

Step 3: Map Attributes

Map your IdP's user attributes to zAccess fields: email → email, displayName → firstName+lastName, department → role (optional). Save attribute mappings.

Step 4: Test & Enable

Click "Test SSO Login" — you'll be redirected to your IdP and back. Once confirmed, enable SSO for all users. Students and staff can now log in with institutional credentials.
